Pratap: This is wrong. Hum jhut bol rahe hain

Ajabde: Ek jhut jisse kisi ka bhala ho woh jhut na hota. Tumhaare badon ne bataaya nahi ki shaadi karwaana is accha kaam. Aur yahan toh baat tumhaare apne bhai ki hai. I know pretend karna hoga but I promise I’ll pretend- tum meri personality se bilkul match na karte but kaam chala lenge

Pratap seemed thoughtful: humne yeh bola bhi ki we have been in a relationship agar unhone proof maanga tab kya karenge....

“I’ll validate tumhaara story” Sajja Bai ji spoke up entering the room.

SB: I’ll tell them ki yeh studies poora karna chaahte thi and we were all supportive of her. Tumhaara relationship isiliye humne vocalise na kiya because you were worried ki media would hound her....

Ajabde smiled gleeful:  Kaki sa you are a genius.

SB (smiles): I have my moments. Bahut raat ho gayi hai ab sone chalo sab. Aap humaare saath aaiye hum kapre dete hain aapko

Ajabde went happily with SB leaving the two brothers behind still thinking of the plan.

NEXT MORNING

Pratap as per his daily routine woke up at Brahmamuhurat and got dressed for the day. He went to the gym first and then after his bath went down for breakfast only to see no one was up only the servants were going about their business

“Hukum aapko kuch chahiye tha?”

Pratap: Sab log kahan hai?

Daas: Hukum Ranisa mandir gayi hai aur Kunwar Shakti abhi uthe nahi hai

Pratap went to his brother’s room to see he was all dressed up and ignoring the calls.

Shakti: Dadabhai aap??

Pratap: Haan I came to (phone rings)

Shakti disconnected the call and switched his cell off only to see his brother’s raised eyebrows

Pratap: Shakti this is not …

Shakti: I don’t want to talk about it. Heer knows ki this is wrong and if they force me to choose then it will be you Dadabhai it will always be you. She can marry some other guy I don’t care

A gasp made them turn to see Heer Kanwar standing on the doorstep and as a tear rolled down her cheek both the brothers got their senses back

Pratap: Heer listen to me Shakti was being a fool....

Heer: No he wasn’t and he’s right like always I was the fool who thought otherwise anyways now that he has already decided then I guess I should return this (gives the ring back)

Shakti: Heer listen... he shook his head trying to gather his thoughts.

Heer:  I did – Heard every word you uttered Kunwar Shakti....

Heer turned and ran out with both the guys going after her only to see Heer slip only to be caught by none other Ajabdeh.

Heer: Shama kijiye

Ajabde smiled: Badi badi haveliyon mein aise chote chote haadse hote rehte hain Rajkumari sa!

Heer smiled amused at the girl in Sajja Bai’s saree when Shakti came running to the spot.

Shakti: Tum theek ho na? lagi toh nahi tumko.? Baat kyun na sunti ho? bas jo suna usko hi poora maan leti ho??

Heer looked away: Aap shaadi todna chaahte usse zyaada kya sunti....

Ajabde looked at the duo thoughtful...” Shaadi todna ....wait a minute aap Heer ho”

Heer nodded her head while Ajabde looked at Shakti and Pratap .

Ajabde: Bata na sakte ki yehi hain? zara aur mast line maarti na main

Heer looked clueless: Aap kaun hai??

Pratap murmured “Musibat”

Ajabde: Aapke Dadabhai Pratap ki hone waali Mrs.

Heer’s eyes widened while Pratap coughed making Ajabde laugh amused.

Ajabde: “Chill Kunwarsa… Heer am going to help you guys in your chotu sa problem jo khada hua hai but meri help se Pehle Shakti bhai aapko kuch kehna  hai”

Shakti: Mere ko kuch kehna??…kya kehna hai

Ajabde: Heer ko uski ring waapis karenge ya dusra dulha dhundhe uske liye?? She narrowed her eyes making Heer smile amused.

“ Jaisi api agyaan” shakti promptly placed the ring back before Heer protested. Heer in turn surprised Ajabdeh with a hug while Pratap shook his head at the family love straight out of some movie.

“Welcome to the family Ajabdeh Baisa.” Heer giggled at Pratap. “ Fake hi sahi!”
